SUNSET SALUTATIONS

Molding your belongings
Into crystal blues
Grasping onto yearnings
Ripped by inner clues

Crops that ripen
Thoughts are heightened
By sister solitude
And time is lengthened
Fear is sharpened
My reminiscing shoes

Did you know that the sun never goes down
And we just keep going around?
In the setting sun we learn goodbyes are meant to
Let our seed fall to the ground
Fall to the ground…

Encompassing the mornings
With all these silly rules
Abundant recollection
Of air that’s yet to loose

Crops that ripen
Thoughts are heightened
By sister solitude
And time is lengthened
Fear is sharpened by
My reminiscing shoes

Did you know that the sun never goes down
And we just keep going around?
In the setting sun we learn goodbyes are meant to
Let our seed fall to the ground
Fall to the ground…

Heavy rain is falling
The known becomes a blur
Pain is finally fading
My sun salutes the moon
